Napkin Art Journal – #3 – She wispered it softly under the stars
It is so interesting how the create process can go. I was supposed to choose a napkin to use in my napkin journal but they just were not inspiring me. However, as I was going through my stash, this France rice paper spoke to me. I have a deep love and connection to all things Paris. It is part of my story and journey and one that God has redeemed for me. It was so healing to move through this page to find even greater meaning and depth in those things. Sometimes, art is a place to just have fun & get messy. For me, often art is another form of deeper healing for me. I loved how things ended up peeking through in unexpected ways. I used gouche for the first time in mixed media and I fell in love! I need more colors. It was super fun to work with. I ended up with unexpected colors that didn’t really go with the focal image but it was fun to explore and just let my heart guide me. I sure hope that you enjoy the video!
