Hello Friends –
Today, I created my first master board. I used a variety of junk journaling digital papers from multiple sellers. I will list them below. Collaging is one of my favorite things to do so I really enjoyed this. I find it very relaxing and intuitive. It is the first master board I have done. The idea is to make this collage beauty and then cut it up into tags and journal cards to be used in a junk journal. I will be doing that for you in an upcoming video. As I mentioned in my last video, I have decided to do some junk journaling, though, at this point I am not really using junk. I am using a variety of digital papers, doilies, envelopes & scrapbook paper. I have created some bits that I am looking forward to sharing with you soon. It is a very enjoying process and is setting well with me. In this video, I share with you the first junk journal that I created and bound myself. However, after thinking about it I decided that one signature in the journal was not enough. Since I created it, I had put together 2 more signatures for that book and I feel deeply satisfied with it.
My thoughts and feelings are bubbling up as I embark on this adventure. I am still unsure what the focus or theme will be for the first journal, but that is okay 🙂
Coming soon, as mentioned in this video, I will be showing you from start to finish how I make the next journal. I have an old book that I will be using for that and it will have four signatures. It is going to be my “My Souls Heartbeat” journal. In it, will be all things I hold sacred about myself and my journey. I am sure there will be more to come. Again, I want to bring you along to see how this all plays out and sharing bits along the way. I am not sure how much I will share as I go about it, but at the very least, you will be able to get an idea of how to make a junk journal and how to work in one. I feel strongly that when we put pen to paper and we honor all that we are, past- present & future, we move ourselves to new places of completeness and joy. I am looking forward to housing some of these things within the pages in a consolidated and beautiful way that matches my heart places.
