Hello friends,
Today, I am starting a new journal. I had a request from a dear friend to do a commissioned journal. I am going to give it a go. My reticence to doing a journal as a request is the self-imposed pressure that I allow myself to be under. So, with the understanding that this journal will take as long as it takes, I am going to give it a go. My friend asked for an antique romance, Victorian Journal. So today, we are making a signature page before binding the journal. I usually always decorate my pages after I sew the signatures in. I am going to try to do this one differently and see if the flow feels better. For this page, I used one of the original mixed media papers that we did on camera a while back. The feel of this paper is delicious. I am also using papers from Calico Collage. I will be sure to link everything over on the blog.
