In today’s tutorial, I’m sharing a fun and easy CD Window Envelope Tip-In—a fabulous interactive piece you can add to any junk journal. These clear-window CD sleeves are perfect for showcasing small decorated cards, hidden notes, mini photos, and tiny journaling spots. The shiny peek-through window adds such a special touch!

This technique is beginner-friendly and even easier if you have a circle die. Your tip-in opening can be placed at the top, bottom, left, or right, giving you lots of creative flexibility. I purchased my CD sleeves at Goodwill, but I’ll also link an Amazon option below for convenience.

Don’t have CD envelopes on hand? No problem! You can make your own window sleeves using paper, which allows you to customize the shape of the window—circle, oval, square, heart, label-frame, and more!
