This is Part 2 of our Yummy Christmas Patisserie Beginner Junk Journal Series and today we’re diving into a very exciting step — sewing in the signatures!
We will sort and arrange the signature pages into three complete signatures, and I’ll show you step-by-step how to sew them into our journal cover using the 3-hole pamphlet stitch. If you’re new to journals or have been nervous about sewing signatures — breathe easy — you can do this right along with me.
It can be a bit tricky filming this process overhead (hands and thread everywhere!) but we will persevere together and get these beauties stitched in securely.
Up next in Part 3, we’ll begin adding elements to the inside covers and chat about creative ideas for decorating — as well as options for our spine design. So stay tuned!
