Yes, I am back to my Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule. I am a schedule girl and feel most effective when I do what works best for me.
In today’s video, I’m sharing how to make UV resin charms for junk journals. This is an easy project using affordable supplies—the resin kit I used is available on Amazon for under $15. I originally explored this technique a couple of years ago, and it felt like the perfect time to revisit it with fresh eyes and new ideas.
I used a variety of paper punches to create different shapes for visual interest. For the rectangle images, I printed the kit pages (double spreads) at 16 to a page to achieve the perfect charm size.
I gladly embrace the imperfections in projects like this. They tell the story of handmade creativity with a dash of humanity—exactly what I love about journaling and mixed media art.
These charms will become part of spine dangles and embellishments for my Rooted in Him and Moments in Time (Grandma’s Kitchen) journals. I’m especially hoping to create a large spine dangle using these little charms as the focal pieces.
