In today’s video I’m sharing a creator-inspired project — these itty-bitty mini origami envelope paperclips. I was inspired by the Kimigami channel (linked below) and after several attempts, I finally found success with this sweet little fold. The folding is a bit tricky, but so rewarding when it comes together!
I created my template using 32 lb paper instead of lightweight 20 lb paper. While the thicker paper makes some folds more challenging, the finished envelope is durable and can be unfolded and refolded again and again.
And yes — you can actually write inside this tiny envelope!
Project Details:
• Paper size: 3 1/8 x 4 1/8 inches
• Paperclip size: 1 1/8 inches tall
• No glue required for construction
• Optional embellishing on the front and back
These little envelope clips are perfect for adding interactive journaling space to your projects. I’ll be using them in both my Moments in Time (Grandma’s Kitchen) and Rooted in Him journals.
I love projects like this because they combine paper engineering, storytelling, and handmade beauty — all in one tiny piece.
