Welcome to Episode 2 of a new series – How to MixMedia-Tize Your Journal Pages! This is going to be so fun. My hope in this series is to introduce more mixed media techniques in journal making. I know that mixed media can feel overwhelming, but let’s take some little steps together. In this video, we are using some techniques on some pages for the BOHO Journal. In today’s video, we are doing some simple stenciling on the edge of pages as well as in the middle along the folds. Additionally, we are doing a 3D effect with a butterfly page. We are also doing some simple doodling and mark making to add a little pizazz to a page. Lastly, we are using a silver pen to highlight lines in another large butterfly.
