Welcome to Part 3 of our Beginner Journal Making Series. In this video, we will be covering the cover base that we created in Part 2. We will also be doing a hidden spine, I will show you how. Additionally, we will be sewing in the signatures. The video is a bit long, but there was nothing I could cut out as it would have taken away from the learning. This turned out perfectly!
In this series, we will do EVERY step in this journal together. It will be a 2 signature journal with a hard cover. If you are following along, please feel free to use any papers that suit you and inspire you.

Clips – I can’t locate the clips I have. I think I got them at a local craft store. you just want something pretty big. Mine measure 2 7/8 inches wide by 1 1/4 tall (closure part) with the clip top, total height is 2 3/4.
