In today’s video, I’m sharing a delightful and unique double pocket faux envelope fold that is both fun and easy to make. This design has a charming faux envelope look with side tucks built right into the folded structure, creating two generous pockets for journaling cards, notes, or ephemera.
This project is very beginner friendly and comes together quickly with simple folds. I’ve added multiple journaling cards into each pocket to show just how much writing space this design can hold.
You can use this double pocket fold in several ways:
- Tuck it into an existing journal pocket
- Sew it directly into a signature
- Add it as interactive ephemera in a handmade junk journal
The version I created for my Christmas Patisserie Journal will be placed inside a pocket, making it easy to remove and write on outside the journal.
