Hello lovelies! Welcome back!
Today we are transforming a beautiful card maker fold into sweet and functional junk journal ephemera with a charming buckle-style closure. This little piece is full of delightful surprises — hidden pockets, fun flips, and a lovely writing space when opened.
I absolutely love watching card maker tutorials because their designs translate so beautifully into our journal world. This project uses just two pieces of paper, a few simple cuts, and a couple of journal cards tucked into a secret pocket. The only slightly tricky part is cutting the slit for the buckle closure — but once you do it once, it becomes very easy.
This piece fits perfectly inside a journal pocket and would also make a wonderful Happy Mail gift for a creative friend.
