Video – Mixed Media 101 – Ep 4 – Fiber Paste – Magic Texture & Die Cutting

Video – https://youtu.be/uFYN7S64YL4

Hello friends,

Welcome to Episode 4 of Mixed Media 101. Today, I wanted to show you a technique I discovered recently. I purchased some Fiber Paste from Golden to experiment with. I wanted to bring you along to learn with me. Fiber Paste is a soft, almost fluffy medium that has a fibrous feel and appearance. It is an opaque medium that can be used for the same thing that we would use modeling paste for.

However, in this video, I want to show you its properties to make some grungy fodder for layering. We will also do some die cutting. The medium, once dried has a plastic feel on the back. It is quite fibrous, and aids in automatically creating inconsistent texture.

I hope you enjoy!
